Ludo Star offline play is built into the official Ludo STAR app — no separate "offline APK" needed. The Google Play description says "Play fun online and offline games", and Gameberry's help center gives the steps below (checked 18 October 2026).
How to play Ludo Star offline
- Install Ludo STAR from Google Play or the App Store while you have internet (download guide).
- Open the game and go to the Lobby.
- Scroll to the right along the lobby.
- Tap Offline.
- Choose the game mode and the other options, then tap Start.
That's it — no Wi-Fi or mobile data needed once the game is installed and the offline game has started.
What a Ludo Star offline game doesn't count for
- League: only wins in public online matches count toward your league rank, so offline wins don't move you up (league rules).
- Online extras: chat, Clubs, Lucky Dice, events and games with Facebook friends all need a connection.
Offline is for practice and for playing when the signal is bad — on a journey, in a village, or when your data runs out.
Can't find Offline in the lobby?
- Scroll the whole lobby row. The help center places the Offline option on the right-hand side.
- Update the game. Gameberry's advice for missing features is to install the latest version (Play Store → Manage apps & device → Updates).
- Wait for the rollout. Gameberry releases new features in phases, so lobbies can look different from one account to the next.
Ludo Star offline download: avoid "offline mod" APKs
Sites offering a "Ludo Star offline download" or "offline mod" usually push an old or modified APK. You don't need one — the offline mode is in the normal app. A modded file can cost you your account (see mod APK risks), and an old build has its own problems (Ludo Star old version).
Practise offline, win online
Offline games are a good place to practise board control without risking gold: open all your tokens early, spread your moves, and count the numbers that kill or reach safety. Then take it online — how to win Ludo Star · Ludo Star online play · Ludo rules.
