Ludo Star online play is free: install Ludo STAR, connect to the internet and you can play random players, Facebook friends or anyone with your table code. Here is every online mode, using the steps from Gameberry's help center (checked 18 October 2026).
Ludo Star online modes
- Public games: 2-player or 4-player matches against random players, with a gold stake. Styles: Classic, Arrow or Blitz.
- Team Up: a 4-player game where the players sitting opposite each other are a team. You invite one friend as your partner.
- Private table: a table only your friends can join, by code or link.
- Clubs: chat rooms with voice chat where members play matches together.
- Streak Star and League: weekly competitions built on public wins (league prizes).
Play Ludo Star online with Facebook friends
- Log in with Facebook. Friends who play appear in the friend list in your lobby.
- Tap Challenge next to a friend and pick the type of game.
- Your friend gets a notification and accepts or declines.
Play with friends who aren't on Facebook
- Tap Private Table in the lobby and choose the table type.
- The game shows a table code and share options.
- Send the code or join link; friends enter it to join your table.
Team Up step by step
- In the lobby, tap the Team UP card.
- Choose the bet amount and the variation.
- Share the team code with your partner — the game starts when they join. Tap the "i" icon for the team rules.
Friends and game buddies
Facebook friends who install the game show up automatically. Players you meet in a match can be added as game buddies: tap their profile photo, then the green add-friend icon. You can have up to 25 game buddies, and only Facebook-logged-in players can add them. Guest accounts can't. See Ludo Star login.
Online vs offline
Online play is needed for gold stakes, chat, clubs, events and the league. Ludo STAR also has an offline mode in the lobby for playing without internet — see Ludo Star offline. You cannot play one account on two devices at the same time.
